Revelation: A Novel

"Revelation: A Novel" is an adventure novel written as historical fiction. Eight years in the making, it covers every judgment of God mentioned in Revelation, as opposed to only a tiny portion as with other End Times novels. This explains why the book has over 600 pages - because it covers so much ground. I also take the same view of Revelation that the late Dr. Henry Morris did - that everything in the book is literal, unless it's explained in the text as figurative.

SYNOPSIS

Bob and his family are unexpectedly upended when millions of people suddenly vanish. Due to the resulting chaos and economic upheaval, Bob loses his job as a university professor, while his wife Barbara has to support the family through her work at the local abortion clinic.

Meanwhile, Alexander Giannis, the European Union President, is amazingly prepared to deal with the global emergency. After making Chinese billionaire Caleb Wong his lieutenant, he is voted by the U.N. as the leader of the world and given emergency powers. Giannis implements a mandatory barcode on one's right hand or forehead for buying and selling, which gives him total control over the world - but the marks soon result in terrible, painful sores. Soon, more judgements from God follow as demon-locusts, then demon-riders, attack those who reject God with shocking consequences.

A severe hindrance to Giannis' goal of world domination, though, is the appearance of "two witnesses" who appear in Jerusalem in a descending ball of fire. They preach repentance and warning, defying the beast for three-and-a-half years as they exhibit incredible, supernatural abilities.

As the world reels from even more devastating judgments, Bob and his family struggle to even find enough to eat, while the Antichrist Giannis and his false prophet Wong become increasingly ruthless in their quest to torment and exterminate mankind. Yet believers know that Christ's return is imminent, when he will defeat the Antichrist once and for all.

CAST

Alexander Giannis - the beast and AntiChrist; the benevolent President of the European Union before he
takes global power as the Supreme Leader after the Rapture.
Caleb Wong - the billionaire Chinese Satanist who becomes Giannis' false prophet and who forms the
GVE, or Grand Vizier Enforcement, which ruthlessly cracks down on anything Christian around the
world.

The President of Israel - the secular leader of Israel who comes to defy the AntiChrist
The President of the United States - a man with secular values who becomes subservient to the beast
after disasters strike the country.

THE FAMILY

Bob - the liberal professor who is skeptical of any and all religions.
Barbara - the part-time abortion clinic worker who tries to keep peace in the family.
Adam - the oldest child who is a metalhead and who eventually goes to work for the dreaded GVE.
Joseph - the devout Mormon who tries to maintain his religion after it's outlawed.
Annie - the daughter whose best friend was raptured and who ultimately becomes a seeker of the truth.
